Story

----- 2019 London Marathon for ELEPAP -----

I am running this year's London Marathon on Sun 28th April 2019.

I have pledged to raise £900.00 for ELEPAP, a fantastic charity in Greece supporting children and adults with disabilities. Please help me achieve this goal, you can make a huge difference to the lives of the brave children of ELEPAP.

ELEPAP recently celebrated it's 80th anniversary. It is one of the major organisations in Greece providing specialist medical services, rehabilitation programmes and support to children and young adults with disabilities.

ELEPAP's therapeutic and intervention programmes include: - Early Neurodevelopmental Assessments - Sensory Integration - Physical Therapy - Therapeutic Swimming - Adaptive Sports Activities - Family Counselling and many others. It provides a holistic approach to disability and facilitates the child and it's family through a wide range of services.

My Crowdfunding for ELEPAP hopes to raise funds for the Chania branch of the charity.

I am not a fast runner. I struggle with a bad knee (torn meniscus) and chronic low back pain. Running for a good cause like this helps me cope with pain and gives me strength to keep going. It will also make me feel very proud if I manage to cross the Finish Line!

I would be grateful if you supported me and the brave kids of ELEPAP.

Disclaimer: - I have obtained written permission to use the Logo and photographs from ELEPAP. - All funds raised are directed to ELEPAP Chania bank account, I will personally cover the JustGiving website fees (2.9% + £0.25 per donation).
