Story

“Homeless people are some of the most vulnerable and socially excluded people in our society.“ Last year we had over 8,000 sleeping rough nights on the streets of London.

“More than 200,000 phone calls are placed to domestic violence hotlines every year.“ An estimated 1.9 million adults aged 16 to 59 years experienced domestic abuse during the last year in England and Whales.

“Self-harm among girls aged 13 to 16 rose by 68% in three years, in the UK“ Every year, one in four of us will experience a mental health problem. But hundreds of thousands of people are still struggling to get the support they need.

We‘ve decided that we would like to be the ones to teach people about the sort of things that go on in life by raising money and spreading awareness. We want people to know that they’re not alone and that we‘re here if they need us. We also want to influence children to do the same as us and raise money to help put these at a stop. We both truly believe that children our age should begin to learn more about the crisis that happen not only in their city but also throughout the world. This month we would like to gather enough money to put towards buying fun toys and items for our londons little helpers boxes. These boxes are for children in hospital to make their stay a little more fun.
