I've raised £600 to fund our local hunt saboteur groups by running the Glasgow half marathon, i’ll be running in honour of those foxes who have lost their lives

As most of my friends know, I‘m as capable of completing a marathon as an anaemic sloth, but this summer I will be running the Glasgow half marathon, fully dressed as a fox and adorned with anti-fox hunting get-up, to raise vital funds and awareness for three wonderful hunt sabateour groups - Grampian, Fife and Glasgow. Sabs are the people I look to as the true heroes in this world, and I want to raise enough money to fund these groups to enable fuel for sab vehicles, transport for non-drivers, money for equipment (citronella essential oil, hunting horns, gizmos, spray bottles, radios, whips), financial aid for vehicle repair, funds for camp - all in order to keep our foxes safe ❤️ I will be splitting whatever I raise three ways.
WHY AM I RAISING FOR SABBING?
I have had the absolute honour of going out sabbing with these guys last year and saw first hand how skilled and hard working (so much running!) they are and unpredictable the task can be, often met with hostility. The law fails to protect the fox, with evidence proving it is repeatedly broken by hunts. The only thing protecting the foxes are the sabs - Sabbing literally saves lives! To put my words into context, I have added a link to a recent UNILAD documentary, showing the truth behind the horrific hunt, filming was taken from English and Scottish hunts - https://youtu.be/VSvD09AaAXY. Becuase of this, I wanted to do something to raise vital funds to help protect these foxes, as a cause very close to my heart. Due to my working schedule, I haven't been able to get involved this season, so instead I am running the marathon dressed as a fox, adorned with anti-fox hunting décor to raise awareness and funds to put towards keeping these wonderful sabs out in the field and to do my part.
Support us to protect these beautiful beings who have just as much right to live peacefully on this Earth as any other. I will be running in memory and in honour of every fox that lost their lives at the hands of this barbaric ‘sport’, may your future generations know the love and peace you so desperately deserved.
