I've raised £3000 to Annie & Duncan's Long Walk Home for Bliss UK, Cots for Tots and the Children's Air Ambulance

Hello friends, this a fundraiser for three charities that support premature babies and their families) , these are.... the children's Air Ambulance, Cots for Tots and Bliss( More information about them to follow).
As some of you will know my grandson was born 10 weeks early and he benefited from the dedicated care provided by numerous individuals within the health service, this vital work supporting premature babies and their families is in turn supported by charities (that includes the 3 we have chosen to raise money for),
In recognition of the incredible work these charities do I, together with my son Duncan have decided to walk from Ipswich to Bristol via Oxford.
We have chosen this route because baby River was born in Ipswich hospital and later transfered to St Michaels Hospital in Bristol by childrens Air Ambulance, his mum was cared for in John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford before his birth.
We have set a target of £3000, £1000 for each of the charities named, we will be setting up a just giving page nearer the time, but happy to receive pledges and donations in the meantime.
This is a huge challenge for us having no experience of long distance walking, map reading and neither of us being that fit. we intend to change all that before April 2020!, we would welcome any help, advice, loans of maps or equipment and we would welcome contact with anyone along the route that might let us camp in their garden, knowledge of camp sites, hostels or pubs along the route also would be helpful, we will be adding details of route as we plan it. We are blessed with a lot of friends and hope that you will all be able to donate and share this event with others.we
