Story
Wortley Under 16s coaches long walk to the final!
Wortley Under 16s Girls have reached the final of the West Riding Girls Football League Shield competition, because of this the coaches J, Matty and Leo are going to walk the 15 miles from the girls home pitch - Wortley Recreation Ground - to the location of the final, Wetherby Sports Association, to raise money for Mind and Wortley Girls.
The long walk to the final will take place on Sunday 7th May, just a week before the big day itself!

A huge thabk you to everyone for your fantastic support. Including offline donations we raised over £600 for Mind and the girls teams at Wortley FC. Every donation, share and kind word has been a huge support. We appreciate it mofd than words can say! The coaches walked over 15.2 miles in 5 hours and 45 minutes. Thank you once again!

7 years agoA huge thank you to everyone who has donated so far! The support shown has been absolutely fantastic and we all really appreciate it! Leo, Matty and J are currently out on a practice walk, having just finished training with the girls - it will be a late one tonight!!
