Story
We are raising money for Louise, who was 39yrs old and 5 months pregnant with her second child when she had a devastating brainstem stroke 22 months ago.
She survived against all the odds and 4 months later, whilst she was still on a ventilator, her beautiful baby Antonia was born by caesarian. A sister to 5yr old Meghan.
To cut a long story short, Louise is severely disabled but there is hope. So, since her discharge after 16 months in Hospital, her friends and family have been fundraising to provide specialist physio; and speech and language therapy. She would love to be able to hug her daughters and tell them that she loves them.
Without this fundraiser, the family simply couldn't afford this expertise and they would never know what might have been possible with the right help.
Louise and her family no longer hope for a miracle but are beginning to shape some sort of future for themselves.
Thank you for your support.

I hope she gets the help she deserves. I'm donating in memory of my dear Dad who was a stroke survivor. There is hope as after his first stroke in his 30s he learned to speak and write again. 💖
