Mutts in Distress is a small dog rescue and animal shelter based in Little Hallingbury, on the Essex / Hertfordshire border. They predominantly rescue dogs that would otherwise be destroyed and re-home them. Mutts In Distress have recently brought over 2 disabled dogs and will very soon be bringing over another 5 disabled dogs from abroad. If they can raise the money they so desperately need for their surgeries they will no longer be disabled. The dogs have either been born with deformed limbs or been damaged by accident or abuse. The first one, Luna (seen above) has just had her surgery to straighten her legs. Mutts In Distress will be paying for the costs and need to raise the funds for the surgeries to repair these dogs. The plan is that they will go on to lead normal lives, something which would not happen otherwise.
