At the end of this month I'm embarking on a 6 day loop round the Eiger in Switzerland by Mountainbike. We are going to cover around 192km in distance but ascend around 6050m and descend around 8750m. I always intended using this as an excuse to raise money for charity, but now I have a cause to support that is closer to home.
Earlier this year my beautiful cousin Louise received some devastating news when she was diagnosed with neuroendocrine carcinoma, a rare and very agressive form of cancer. The money I want to raise will go towards her treatment and to support her family through this terrible time and beyond. Louise and her husband Washington, have 3 sons, the youngest just 15 months old.
If you can, please make a donation, not to give me added incentive slogging up those mountains, but to support a family that are are dealing with the worst news in the most positive way I can imagine.
