Have you ever seen someone you think has the most beautiful smile and thought that they must have such a happy life? The first time I saw Louise I assumed this. She is young, beautiful and appears to have it all.

The truth is far from my assumptions. Yes, she is young and beautiful but she hides a terrible secret behind her smile because Louise suffers from Hypermobility Elhers Danlos Syndrome (hEDS), which has caused Atlantoaxial Instability (AAI) which results in a dislocated and unstable spine. Louise has to wear a neck brace for long periods of time and suffers incredible pain.

Louise was also diagnosed with a rare brain condition Chiari Malformation, where the lower part of the brain pushes down into the spinal canal causing severe headaches and swallowing problems. Often Louise is frightened to eat for fear of choking and suffocation!!

In order to prevent further deterioration to her health, Louise requires a series of complex operations but these are not available on the NHS. It is estimated that surgical and recovery treatment costs could be up to £150,000 and would see her having to travel to the USA where they are able to offer the specialist care she needs.

Please help me to raise some money for Louise's treatment? Please raid your loose change jar and donate the equivalent or anything extra that you can? Please share this appeal with your friends and ask them to donate their loose change too. A life for loose change would be an amazing thing!!!!
