Hello, my name is Lorna Hopley I'm 81yrs old & I would like to raise money for Jersey General Hospital Staff.

November 2019 i had an accident in which i broke my hip, arm, shoulder & made a nasty hole in my forehead. The result was my having to spend 8 wks in hospital & recouperation. Now that the weather is warmer & I am getting more mobile, I have been walking round my garden & thought that this would be a lovely way to raise the money, just like Captain Tom has done. But being that I am younger than him I plan to do 2 laps, which is 1,000 small paces per day for the next 12 months, weather permitting.

The money raised would go to treats for all the hospital staff, every department, hopefully enough for a good old knees up when the virus has ended, but realistically probably just tins of chocolates, fancy choc biscuits, fruit & real coffee all of which I know they love.

I hope you approve of what I'm doing & look forward to receiving donations, no matter how small.
