Story
Mercy’s Mighty Foundation 💛
Mercy’s Mighty Foundation was created in memory of Mercy Cuthbertson, a much-loved six-year-old girl who sadly lost her life to DIPG, one of the most aggressive childhood brain tumours.
Mercy was known for her infectious sense of humour, determination and the joy she brought to all those around her. The Foundation was established to ensure that her legacy continues by bringing that same sense of joy to other children facing incredibly difficult circumstances.
Mercy’s Mighty Foundation supports paediatric brain tumour and cancer patients across the UK, providing carefully created craft boxes, activities and resources to children receiving treatment in hospitals and hospices, as well as those being cared for at home.
For a child undergoing treatment, living with a terminal diagnosis or receiving palliative care, opportunities to play, create and simply be a child can be incredibly important. The Foundation aims to provide joy, distraction and stimulation, while helping families create precious moments together during some of the most difficult times of their lives.
Every donation helps Mercy’s Mighty Foundation reach more children, more families and more hospitals across the UK.
Mercy’s life may have been short, but her legacy is mighty. 💛
By supporting the Foundation, you are helping to bring a little light, happiness and hope to children and families affected by paediatric brain tumours and cancer.
Delivering hope. Supporting families. Making every day they have left count.
Thank you for supporting Mercy’s Mighty Foundation.
