A bit about this wonderful cause. Greys Eleven Plus is a sanctuary run solely by Carmel Holland to look after sighthounds that are old, unwanted, mistreated, neglected and sometimes very ill. Without Greys Eleven Plus they would have nowhere to go so would live their lives in kennels or worse.

Carmel cares and caters for these hounds in her home. She relies totally on donations given by kind supporters and her own savings. It costs around £75 per month to feed one dog. There are often up to 10 hounds in the sanctuary at one time. Given the age and ailments of the hounds in addition there are lifetime medication and supplement costs and frequent vet visits, which as we are all aware are highly expensive.

Carmel is unable to do much fundraising herself this is where I step in! I have always said I love Carmel and the dogs so much I would walk across hot coals for them......time to take this literally.......!!!

On Saturday 21st September I will be doing a firewalk which is the act of walking barefoot over a bed of hot embers that are 800 degrees in temperature (Ouch!). The walk is 5 metres (16 ft) long.

I hope you will all support me in this fundraising activity. My aim is to raise £1000 for Carmel and the hounds. Every donation counts whether you raid your piggy bank or donate your morning coffee money.
