Lost Boys Club Foundation provides sports clubs and small businesses across south wales with professional and tailored mental health training to enable coaches and team leaders to identify signs of mental health and support individuals troubled by mental health issues.

We aim to take selected members of the sports clubs and work places and put them through the training they need to help improve mental health within there clubs/workplace.Training will include identifying the signs of men/boys dealing with mental health and not feeling like they are able speak out, helping them come forward and feel comfortable speaking with the individuals who have taken part in the training, training will also be provided to help coaches/team leaders deal with matters in the correct manor e.g knowing what to say to the individual who is struggling and helping them to seek the correct professional help if needed and also educate coaches/team leaders on how to give supportive/encouraging feedback by the use of positive words.

Training will be provided mainly to coaches, club managers and other senior members of staff, we wish for them to use the skills that they have learned to make a real impact on the people around them. wether its the young kids coming through and helping them to learn to speak out about there problems so when they grow up speaking openly about how your feeling will be completely normal, or helping an older male when all he's ever been told is to ‘man up’ when he's feeling down to come forward and feel comfortable talking about his issues.
