Since my first ever singing and dancing lessons at the age of 4, I have loved performing and entertaining other people. I spend hours every week training and I hope that one day I can make a living out of doing something I truly love. I have set up this funding page in the hope that I can raise funds to pay for my fees to take part in a huge opportunity this summer with the National Youth Music Theatre .

The National Youth Music Theatre was described by Andrew Lloyd Webber as

and this year I have been amazingly lucky to be invited to join the cast of their new commission called 'The Legend of Sleepy Hollow' which will be performed in Andrew Lloyd Webber's own theatre The Other Palace in the West End of London this Summer.

There were almost 2000 people who auditioned for the NYMT this year so it wasn't easy to get in, and I did have to attend two long days of auditions and also hours of travelling and rehearsing, but I was so thrilled when I found out I was successful.

NYMT is a charity and they charge fees to cover accommodation, tuition, meals, and chaperones for the 3 weeks for rehearsals and show, as well as professional staff, costumes, theatre costs etc during the show. These fees total £1,790 and NYMT have asked us all to do what we can to raise the money for our fees ourselves.

As well as selling stuff on eBay and doing extra chores for pocket money, I am looking for other ways to raise funds e.g. I am going to apply for a licence to busk, I am applying for paid acting jobs, I will offer to take small dogs on walks locally, I will make and sell cakes, biscuits and scones, I will even record dedicated songs in exchange for a donation if you'd like etc! Any other suggestions welcome please.
