Story
Hey guys we are trying to help a friend of ours David Mcharg who is one of the nicest most giving people we know. He would honestly do anything for anyone and gives what he can when he can.
He has spent the last 4 years building up the Retune Project in the east end of Glasgow. Blood sweat & tears has went into it.
Unfortunately a gang of youths thought it was a great idea to force entry, threaten patrons and trash the place a couple of nights ago. Absolutely heartbreaking for all involved with his charity.
David, began the project after 22 years working in social work tackling everything from addiction and mental health to crime and homelessness.
He's devastated after seeing the place and his first priority is that he wants to make sure all the users of this much needed charity are ok and what he can do for them next.
There must be at least £10,000 of damage to the guitars and months and years of hard work lost.
If you can, would you please donate no matter how big or small to this this cause, so we can get this project rebuilt and up and running asap. This is a crucial lifeline for most of the people involved.
Thanks in advance
From fans of the Retune Project
Peace & Love
