Story

In 2020 I will be competing in numerous endurance events in aid of CALM and "The Club Talks" which aims to boost mental health through the great game of golf.

I will be competing in 5 events:

Stafford Half Marathon - (15th March), COMPLETED

Staffordshire Ironman 70.3 - COMPLETED

Open Water Swimathon 5km - COMPLETED

Big Brutal 5k Swim - COMPLETED

Manchester Marathon - COMPLETED (Saturday 28th November 2020),

Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) is leading a movement against suicide, the single biggest killer of men under 45 in the UK and the cause of 18 deaths every day.

The Club Talks aims to BOOST MENTAL HEALTH THROUGH GOLF. My Golf club Ingestre Park has also named The Club Talks as its 2020 captains charity and I aim to raise my own funds to contribute to our club fundraising.

Suicide is the biggest killer of men under the age of 45.

Golf can be an incredible sport to help with mental health – it requires calm, focus and combines exercise outdoors. Also, it's a chance to have a good chat and laugh with mates.
