On July the 12th, the two Louis’ – Davidson and Williams – will be driving the Mongol Rally.

Starting in Prague, we’re overlanding to Oskemen in far east Kazakhstan, in one of the least suitable vehicles imaginable: an already battered Cat-N hatchback, with over 170,000 miles on the clock.

One Toyota.

Two Louis’.

Twenty-ish countries.

Ten thousand miles.

Countless breakdowns and arguments.

But it’s not all about fun (read: endless drives through featureless desert in sweltering heat).

Along the way, we’re raising money for two great causes.

Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders) – MSF works in conflict and disaster zones the world over to provide medical care to those that need it most. They are often the first line of medical aid in crisis zones and operate in some of the harshest environments imaginable. Anything we raise beyond £529 will go to MSF.

Cool Earth – the official charity of the Rally, these guys are doing incredible work to support indigenous and local communities in their fight against the climate crisis. The first £529 we raise will go directly to Cool Earth.
