I've raised £1060 to Help us buy a lifesaving epilepsy monitor for young Charlie

Hi, firstly I'd like to take a moment to thank you for reading about my boy. Charlie is 13 and was born with mild cerebral palsy due to a difficult birth, he was later also diagnosed with autism and epilepsy. Charlie has seizures most days, thankfully most are fairly mild however it does affect his day to day living, he's had some serious injuries and needs to carry emergency medication to school and other places he spends any amount of time. Charlie no longer feels safe to go outside to play or to visit friends homes in fear of having tonic clonic seizures where he looses all ability to function and is often left with Todd's paralysis meaning he can be paralysed for up too 2 weeks following a seizure, He is now an uncle to a 4 month old baby girl who he is too terrified to hold in fear of dropping or hurting her whilst seizing. He can no longer ride his bike or scooter climb a tree go swimming take a bath or cross a road alone as these simple things have caused him serious injury in the past. Charlie would love to be able to function like a normal teenage boy but feels unable to do so... There are now wrist band devices that monitor the child's pulse rate and sound an alarm when it detects changes, this would give Charlie a little peace of mind and the ability to start and have a little independence whilst also giving warning of imminent seizures to school /parents /carers. This is Crucial for through the night when he tends to have his most severe and life threatening seizures. We have been informed that if we manage to raise some of the money towards this device we could maybe start a payment plan to pay the remainder of the balance.
