I will be walking 100 miles in April in aid of 2 brilliant causes - For Jude and St Luke's Hospice.

Towards the end of February I lost one of my closest friends, my lovely Viv. She was vibrant, strong, kind and beautiful inside and out. She was taken far too soon and I miss her terribly. Half of the money raised will go to St Luke's, Sheffield whose nurses took such good care of her at the end of her life.

I know that Viv would be telling me to crack on and enjoy life as she did. With that in mind I decided to get my walking shoes on and walk these 100 miles in her memory.

The remaining money will go to For Jude through Solving Kids Cancer. Jude is just 4 years old and his family are currently working to secure access to new treatments for him as he continues to fight neuroblastoma. Jude has so far had over 18 months of back to back treatment but all NHS options have now been exhausted. Following some positive scan results these new options have opened up for the family but more funds are needed.
