    Story

Paul James Wilkinson, daddy, partner, son, brother, super uncle, super step dad, colleague and friend was taken from us on 31.5.17 after a short illness in Victoria Hospital. They failed to diagnose and failed in the provision of basic care. I have set up this page to for is absolute pride and joy son "Alfie" who is 18 months old - to ensure he is provided for as Paul would have wanted and to get justice for his daddy in the future.

There will only ever be one Paul "Wilky". Nowhere else will you find such crackers humour and unique personality. As he would say himself, he was "bloody daft" and thats what we all loved about him! Since childhood Paul loved being centre of attention and had the ability to win people over with his cheeky humour, once met you didn't forget! This gave him success in his sales career selling Takeuchi diggers – he was a “people person” and “people buy from people”. Paul always put his family & friends above all else, he was a fantastic listener and always knew what to say whatever the problem you had. Pauls personality touched anyone he met and he was truly unforgettable - everyone knows "Wilky"! The life and soul of any gathering, his passion for fun and new experiences was infectious. Paul was amazing with all the children in his life (Joe, Lily, Evie and Ruby), teaching them about wildlife, Lytham history, farming and shooting - "Wilkys Wise Words".

Having Alfie made Paul the happiest man alive, form the point that we found out we were having "bean" to the 17 week scan by Santosh who announced "bean" was in fact baby boy "Alfie" - Paul had a constant smile, the proudest man alive.

While the pain of his loss will never diminish, I am so proud to know that Paul adored us all - Alfie, Evie, Ruby and me. In that short time we were all together our lives were complete. Only time and strength will help heal our loss but we will keep remembering and re-living all those fond, hilarious and daft memories Paul has left with us.

Paul James Wilkinson, age 45. Best and most proud Daddy ever. "Bloody Daft", quick witted and just hillarious! Takeuchi sales representative - he loved selling diggers! Knew all the best pie shops in the North West and was particularly fond of black pudding & a good full English!
