The money raised is for a Yvonne King a lady who will have to give up work because after 2 years of pain has finally had a diagnosis that she has a rare form of skin cancer, that has made her lose all her body hair and has left her with a very painful raised red rash that covers her entire body. Any money raised will give Yvonne peace of mind so that she can concentrate on her treatment and not worry about the fact that she has to give up work. Yvonne will be starting treatment including blood cleansing, light treatment, chemotherapy, possible radiotherapy and finally a bone marrow transplant. Yvonne is one of the nicest, caring, selfless people we have ever met. She has brought up three sons by herself, and worked all hours at a variety of jobs to see that she could pay bills and to make sure her sons did not want. She volunteers at our playgroup as well as working 3 jobs sometimes into the early hours of the morning. Yvonne is always cheerful and would do anything for anybody. One of Yvonne's jobs is cleaning and shopping for the elderly people and she always goes beyond the call of duty doing a lot of extras for them. Any money raised would give Yvonne peace of mind that she can pay her rent, bills and buy food. Removing the stress of money worries will go a long way to hopefully helping Yvonne recover. Yvonne deserves to have a stress free life, lets all dig deep and do what we can to try and help achieve this.
