My 16 year old son and his year 11 school mates are running 38 miles between them which is the distance from their school to Turf Moor, home of Burnley football club Mr Connors favourite football team, to help fund a memorial shelter in memory of one of their favourite teachers.

Tim Connors was an exceptional teacher at Nidderdale High for 22 years and sadly lost his battle to cancer in September 2025.

Please help support the kids in doing this to create a shelter for generations to come so Tim’s legacy will live on.
