Story
I am a single disabled mum, of a disabled teenager, who has autism and bowel and bladder problems.
My car is my lifeline and my independence. I am struggling to get my son to school, due to his special needs he can not cope with public transport, and as I'm saving as much as I can for repairs, can not afford taxis.
I suffer from fibromyalgia and degenerative disc disease and arthritis in my ankles, so without my car I can not do shopping for my son and i, my hospital and Drs appointments have had to be cancelled as I can not get there. At the moment I am becoming housebound and my depression is getting worse.
I can not sell the car on as I am still paying for it.
I have managed to save £200 and still trying to save more.
The repairs are quoted at £650 for a new gearbox and clutch.
