Story
Jerry lee- our family pet for nearly 9 years was hit and left for dead on thursday. It was myself and my 4yr old son who found him in the evening in a bad way Leaving my son, also in a very emotional state. At the vets- it was apparent that his injury was substancial and his leg has had to be amputated. we were looking at insurance for him on the tuesday- he was hit on the thursday, meaning the bill has come in out of our leage to pay solidly. We had asked to pay in installments- but the vets wouldn’t accept the terms and wanted him signed over where they would re home him If we couldn‘t secure the money. Some has already been raised (the deposit to secure him back to us) but there is still a little way to go. He is a loving and loyal cat who has just loved us all his life and we cannot abandon him when he needs us the most. Donations were being made directly to the Jspca who is caring for him but they have now refused any donations on behalf of him directly- so we have set up this page so if anyone wants to donate to his cause can do so knowing it will all go directly to cover his costs and to make it less stressful for everyone.
Thank you all so much. We are forever grateful. XxxxX
