Thankyou for looking at our page and reading our story....
On 23rd July 2022 at Pony Club Zones, our team battled some of the top teams in the country to earn themselves a place at the Horse Of The Year Show (HOYS) to compete for the esteemed Prince Philip Cup in Mounted games, held on October 5th-9th at the NEC Birmingham. Over 150 teams across the country compete towards the goal of earning one of these six spots.
With the competition just a matter of weeks away, we now have the mammoth task of serious practice, preparation and fundraising in order to represent our branch of the Pony Club.
The North Herefordshire squad consists of Codie Beachus (14), Heidi White (14), Scarlet Richardson (13), Edward Queen (13), Jas Willis (13), Lottie Beachus (12) and Ellie Simcock (12).Trained by Iain and Sam Hopkins.
To be able to represent North Hereford on one of the biggest Equestrian stages in the World is a dream come true, and we need your help! The average cost to take the team, feed them, clothe them, provide generators to keep them warm in the car park home for the week! To create stables, tack rooms and care for the ponies as they work hard to perform in the arena twice a day will amount to approx £15,000.
We are extremely grateful for any amount you are able to donate, every donation truly helps. This is a lovely way for Grandparents, family members, friends and neighbours to show your support. We also ask if any businesses are able to contribute to the effort in the way of cash donation or a prize for an auction.
We hope to see you in October supporting North Herefordshire Team RED!
