I've raised £7480 to Raise money for an powered wheelchair

My name is Louise, I am 58 years old and I volunteer for a charity called Lifeworks Staffordshire and I am based in Newcastle-under-Lyme. I am disabled, but unfortunately I do not meet the NHS criteria for a powered wheelchair and even if I did, I would not be able to have the wheelchair I need so I have to try to fund it myself. I have a limited income and rely on my wheelchair to get out and about.
This is because I have fibromyalgia , severe arthritis, spasms, neuropathy and other conditions that cause constant pain even though I take alot of medication. The wheelchair I currently have is out of production and is showing its age. I am frightened that if it breaks down again it may not be 'repairable' and I will be stuck in the house without the means to go out and about. I cannot walk without pain and when I do it's with locked legs this means I cannot walk very far even with sticks.
The wheelchair I need is special as it will mean that I am not jolted whilst sitting in it which is very important for me. Also, because it has the ability to turn on a sixpence which helps as I am dyspraxic /clumsy and it makes it easier for me to manoeuvre. It has to be able to be used outdoors.
I am a proud person and it has taken a lot for me to ask for help, but I am at a stage where necessity means I have to. I try my best to help others through my charity work and hope that others like you can help me by donating what they can afford towards my wheelchair fund. I do really appreciate any amount given and if you can't I understand, but perhaps you could share this with others that may be able to help.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story.
