Craig (my husband) and I will be running the Yorkshire Marathon in October to raise funds for my amazing Dad who all through his life has given everything he can to others. Whether it be his time, his infectious personality or his last penny! My Dad now needs our help for a change, he is having treatment for Prostate Cancer and has many challenges ahead to deal with. We feel the least we can do is give ourselves a challenge also, by running the Yorkshire Marathon for my Yorkshire Dad 😊 I have been running for four years now purely for myself so now its time to use it to help someone very dear to me, at 47 its not going to be easy but it would be totally worth it if my Dad got something positive from it. We want to raise money for him and also my Mum to have a break away from the stress, at their age and everything they have given to everyone over the years it is very much needed. They are facing quite a struggle together and after 50 years + of marriage we think they deserve it especially as they are the most ” Giving” couple I know. We dont expect to raise money by doing nothing so we will run 26miles to show him and everyone how important he is to all of us 💕💕💕
