On the 23rd ofJune I’m taking part in the legendary Whitwell tradition of the Louise Smalley walk. The Walk is an annual sponsored challenge walk, 40 miles in length in aid of local charities and good causes. The proceeds this year are going towards Whitwell Cricket Club, a cause that is obviously close to my heart.

The club is an integral part of the village both for the senior, womens amd junior teams and the numerous spectators that watch games every week. The proceeds from the walk will allow the club to continue to grow and upgrade our facilities.
