Through a company called World Challenge, I have signed up for a 2 year programme to take part in a 4-week educational expedition to India Uttarakhand, which will involve trekking and working on a community project. The community project will involve working alongside the local people and renovating a local school by helping build class rooms to replace the open air schooling they currently have.

This opportunity is a challenging expedition that will significantly benefit the local community and will teach the team valuable life skills such as leadership, communication and team work.

I have task of raising money through fundraising and working to cover the costs for the expedition.
