I've raised £3000 to help three local childrens charities through Love on the rocks Duston.

Through Love on the rocks Duston we are painting rocks, on commission, aiming to raise as much money as possible to help local disabled children, or those with life limiting conditions. Our chosen children and charity that receive all proceeds raised, are as follows.
One Small Step for Harry. Harry is a 5 year old local boy with Spastic Diplegia Cerebral Palsy, who requires an operation in order for him to walk. Sadly this operation cannot be done or be funded by the NHS. Therefore, his only option is to fly to America to have the procedure, which will cost £60,000.
We are also raising money for Archie, who is a 6 year old boy with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA), type 2. To help prevent Archie's muscles from deteriorating he requires hydrotherapy, with a physiotherapist on a weekly basis, which costs £85 per session. Once again this is not funded by the NHS, therefore meaning, his parents have to fund these sessions themselves, but without this Archie's condition could deteriorate quite rapidly. In addition, the funds raised will also help towards other items Archie needs to help improve his quality of life. This ranges from things such as new wheelchairs to sleeping aids,
Finally, we are raising funds for Megans Flutterby Fund. An amazing charity ran by Gisela, to help local disabled children or those with life limiting conditions get equipment that is not provided or funded by the NHS.
