I've raised £10000 to help Pat Chipps and her family through her battle with Cancer by providing some financial support for the cost of the care.

Story

The Chipps family has been an inspiration and a support to so many of us over the years. Many of us are successful and are where we are today because of the generosity of their spirit and hearts. Their door was always open and there was always food on the table, especially when we turned up unannounced, and stayed around far longer then expected. They made us part of their family and they are a part of all of ours.

Many of us know that Pats cancer has returned, and living as we do in the far flung corners of the world there is so little we can do to help. So this page is set up for for all of us for whom the Chipps have been an integral part of our lives who want to help and are able to help - the smallest amount will make a huge difference.

The money will be used to help with the care and support for Pat - and will be transferred directly to her account from the JustGiving account. Pat recently went to the following clinic http://www.hoxseybiomedical.com/clinic-information/ which specialises in providing support and information to assist with the battle against cancer - the trip was expensive but worth it, and the family dug deep to make happen.

The Chipps have not requested a donation or any assistance at all, this page has been set up by close friends who are stranded at the other end of the world and can do little to assist. The intention is that any money raised will go towards offsetting the expense of the trip, ongoing treatment from the clinic, and if at all possible a few additional treats like the hair dresser and time out with her family.

Money is a poor substitute for being there, providing love, support and helping carry the load, but its something. No one is beholden to help, but if like us you wanted to do something but not sure what, we have created this as an option.

Warmest Regards
