raised of £3,000 target by 31 supporters

Weʼve raised £665 to Support our community during and after the COVID-19 lockdown. LRT are raising funds here to support our local community and charities.

    Livingston, Scotland
Funded on Friday, 31st July 2020

Don't have time to donate right now?

Since April 2010 the Table has raised and re-donated over £100k to local good causes, charities and organisations throughout the Livingston area whilst having fun doing it. During these hard times we are trying our best to support our local community in any way we can.

We are currently supporting local schools and delivering lunches to kids who need it and vulnerable adults on lock down. We're also getting woman's and baby care packages out where we can but we'd like to do more. Local charities and good causes really need our support so that we can all help our community through job losses and illness!

    So far we have been:

    - Delivering school meals to the house bound, self isolating and locked down. (Over 2000 meals delivered to 21/4)

    - Working with suppliers to produce and provide FREE hand sanitiser to front line staff in hospitals, surgeries, old folks homes and the community.

    - Helping to make best use of food that would have gone to waste, by recycling near date items through the local food bank.

    - Supporting PPE production and distribution for Forces Veterans to those in the Community Midwifes Team.

    - Supplying Dignity boxes, as normal operation of this service has been suspended.

Any donations will be greatly received and we will do all we can to make sure it goes to the right place to keep our community happy and healthy.

    Thank you!

Another busy week for the team at LRT this week... We have delivered 635 school packed lunches across West Lothian, delivered multiple food parcels to the Lanthorn community shop, Almond Valley Farm and the Ladywell Community fridge. We bottled, labeled and delivered over 300 hand sanitizers and other supplies to Sunndach House, GP practices, out of hours community nurses and St John's Maternity ward. We also squeezed in a much needed toiletries and dry food donation to both Knightsridge and Dean's primary school community hubs.
