Story

A little team of us are doing this

http://www.totalwarrior.co.uk - it involves running 12k, getting electrocuted , wading through mud and swimming through 10 tonnes of Ice Cubes.

In many ways I would rather be having a cup of tea and a lovely biscuit but we are going to do it and we hope to raise a bit of cash for the work we are doing over in Seacroft Leeds.

We run a project called the LS14 Trust, its a charity and it is set up with local people to make a positive change in the community.

Seacroft is a great place but still has lots of issues and one of the things people living there face is very little investment in local parks and quality, affordable stuff for kids and families to do.

We are starting a project called the Playbox, which is a shipping container set up in a local park which has been designed and created by the local community and will be a space from which loads of children's activities and family events will be run from. it is brilliant and is already making a big impact in the area.

We have managed to get money for the box itself and we have money for a lead worker but we want to raise money for all the kit that is needed to make the thing run, sports equipment, arts and crafts stuff, baby toys etc and we want to get some money to be able to bring along skilled sessional workers throughout the year to make the activities even better.

We are looking to raise £500 anything you could donate would have a real impact and we would really appreciate.

Thanks

Howard and the team.
