Hello everyone, thank you for visiting my page.

The whole aim for raising money is to purchase some new football kit such as jumpers, some coats, some t-shirts and training kit for my Under 7 football team.

The team is part of a local club within Newport, of which was the Under 7s was established in January 2016. Since being established, the first 2 months saw training sessions have a maximum of 5 attend each week, of which young children attended and were dropping out as they were too young, didn't enjoy football or didn't engage. The club was given some support from the community of which a Local Authority Sports Coach (myself) was brought in to provide some support and get it off the ground.

Since then I have now joined the club as the Under 7s Main Team Manager, as well as Club Assistant Safeguarding Officer, committing 4 hours of my time each week volunteering to support the club.

The team now has 20 players on the books, of which 13 are registered to play throughout the season. The team now has 2 training sessions per week, rather than the original 1, 2 registered league teams, upto 4 matches each week, 3 immediate coaches and 2 back up coaches, 1 team secretary and a local business as the team sponsor.

The club have now acquired funding for me to undertake my FAW C Licence which is great, as it will allow the boys to have higher quality coaching, the club to have a higher quality coach and long term sustainability.

2 players for the team are playing for Cardiff City Academy each week at Rougemont School since being scouted in friendlies that took place a few months ago!

I want to continue to develop the Under 7s, which is contributing to the Civil Service Football Club as a whole. The Under 7s has become the most successful sector of the Civil Service Football Club and I am ambitious to continue to support the club and help the club grow long-term to return to its former glory!
