What is crowdfunding?
Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
Story
In the summer of 2019, Luca will be setting off for a one-month expedition to Cambodia with Camps International. While there, she will help build a kitchen for a local school and plant trees as part of a project to reforest damaged parts of the landscape and encourage some of the world’s most endangered wildlife to return.
Luca has to raise £4000 for this trip.
60% of this money is invested in the local community project, wildlife and environmental conservation. Luca will self-fund her 40% portion whilst the remainder we hope to fundraise with local events and also crowdfund.
