These days, you hear the word 'Tumour' so frequently and you think "that won't happen to me" ... well In may this year, my then 15 month old son was diagnosed with a brain tumour after investigations continued to find out if there was a reason for his epilepsy which he was diagnosed with in April after suffering anywhere up to 10 seizures a day. On September the 20th this year Luca had his tumour removed in Addenbrookes hospital, fortunately Luca made an incredibly quick recovery and was discharged 3 days later after quite literally climbing the walls and is now quite literally a different child, he has bags of energy now and is living life to the full but some others are not so lucky and I want to do as much as I can to help put a smile on their face this Christmas. We have been in and out of hospital many times since Luca was born 22 months ago - Luca was in the N&N NICU unit when born, he was also born with talipies which means we are very regular visitors to the Jenny Lind department at the N&N also.
I am fundraising to buy lots of new toys to donate to the Jenny Lind department at the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital - help us put smiles on the face of the Children and their families this Christmas x
