Takis, a former dentist, has given up everything to care for the dogs after he found himself "stunned" by the suffering the animals were going through in his town of Lerapetra.

Personally, i wanted to visit this shelter a few months ago but i didn't have enough money to buy "goodies" for the animals at the shelter and also donate some cash to help with the vet bills and other expenses.

I've created this JustGiving page to raise as much money as possible to help out the shelter.

The travel and accommodation will be paid from my own pocket, any money raised will go towards the shelter.
