I'm going to be walking 10,000 steps everyday in February to raise money for Kid's Adventure BCU.

Kid's Adventure is a charity that aims to provide fun and exciting non-residential respite breaks for disadvantaged children. Kids Adventure projects are very impressive because they are run by enthusiastic and energetic student volunteers, who work tirelessly and with great passion to provide the free breaks from our current bases in Birmingham and Bristol. It's all down to the students to make sure that these much needed holiday's are provided year after year.

On a Kids Adventure holiday all of the children are given positive encouragement and the opportunity to play in a safe environment. This ensures that the children grow in confidence and self-esteem, they form new friendships, build aspirations and most importantly… SMILE!

For some children, day to day life is complicated with stresses and situations that even the toughest of adults would struggle with. At Kids Adventure we believe that every child deserves to be just that. A child. ‘Kids Adventure helps me to take my mind off things, Kids Adventure is the best!’ – Child Aged 9.
