This summer I am going to Goa, India from the 26th July until the 13th August with my church youth group. I shall be working in the Bethesda Life Centre- an orphanage for children who’s parents have passed away due to HIV/AIDs or are in the Sex Trafficking trade. We won’t actually find out what we will be doing specifically until we get there, as it just depends on what is required of us at that exact point to relieve the very overworked full time volunteers there- at present the ratio of children to volunteers is around 150:3.
