In October this year I will be running the Cardiff Half marathon in order to raise money for the amazing company that I am fortunate enough to work for, Torfaen Play and Short Break service.

Torfaen Play provides open access free Play for children aged between 5-12 years. This Ranges from a variety of after school club provisions, to our 4 week summer holiday Playschemes and everything in between. Through the summer we have been working hard to provide Play provisions across not only Torfaen, but also Monmouthshire and Blaenau Gwent.
As well as providing these vital Play provisions, this company also provides important respite sessions for children with a variety of additional needs.

The majority of the workers within Torfaen Play are only volunteers. Each volunteers gets paid expenses each day. However without funding and donations we would not be able to pay the workers who support the families we work with or provide this vital provision.

So I am asking you to dig deep and donate anything you can towards this worthy cause!!
This is the first time I have ever actually put the effort in and trained for an event like this! I am even going to try and aim for 2 hrs 30 or less!! Please don't let it be for nothing!!
