Our son Nathan, was born deaf, but has overcome all obstacles to become a competitive swimmer. He currently swims for York City Baths Club and GB Deaf Swimming Club.

He has been selected to represent team GB at this year's Deaflympics to be held in Tokyo, Japan in November 2025.

Unfortunately, there is no funding for deaf athletes and so we are currently raising money through fundraising and sponsorship to enable him to attend.

Moving forward, Nathan will be continuing his training to compete at the Worlds, Europeans and the Deaflympics again in four years time.

Any donations towards helping Nathan represent GB would be gratefully appreciated.
