    Story

Last year so many people kindly supported me in running the Great South Run and donated money for Prostate cancer, Pancreatic cancer and the British Heart Foundation. In total £300 was raised across all 3 charities in memory of and continued support for many loved ones and I'd like to thank you all so much.

I did say I would be doing a number of events and this year I will be participating in the Brighton triathlon!#750mopenwaterswim#20kbikeride #5krun

This year I will be raising money in memory of Colin Brudenell who sadly passed away on the 27th July. Dear Unc, Uncle Colin, CDog. Colin Brudenell was an amazing strong and caring man, who we all thought the world of. Colin worked hard his whole life, only retiring recently, he had so much love for those around him and gave so much to his church; Queens Road Baptist Church, Broadstairs and his local community. Colin spent his last week at home surrounded by those who loved him. It was an honour to know Uncle Colin and be welcomed into his family.

Any money raised in memory of Uncle Colin will be split, half will go to Leukaemia Cancer Research and the other half to the Queens Road Baptist Church Broadstairs.

QRBC is such a caring, friendly, welcoming and inclusive place of worship. They really do make a difference not only to the local community but also worldwide. QRBC have two registered outreach charities the Gap Project and the Global Challenge.

The Gap Project in Broadstairs is a innovative charity serving the local community, in an area of deprivation, using the fantastic facilities of Queens Road Baptist Church. The ethos of the Gap Project is to provide a safe, inclusive and welcoming environment.

The Global Challenge Charity works collaboratively with partners in the Soroti district of Uganda to initiate and maintain a range of projects focusing on education, alleviating poverty and suffering, and establishing initiatives aimed at improving self sufficiency.

All donations will be split however if you wish your donation to go to a particular charity mentioned above please state this on your donation.
