To the people that reads this, please can I take a moment of your time to just read my story, My name is Lucy I have the most adorable baby brother named Ali, I look after him with my mother, we struggle balancing our own mental health with Alis autism. He has faced a lot of heart break during his ten years of life, he found out he had a disability when he was severally bullied so the point of police records being made. I am currently trying to get as many qualifications as possible to support us. This is not a sad story as we are strong happy for getting through each day. I love helping those in need and those that are homeless but I can’t even afford to buy my own family food anymore. My small family included my granny living with us she was also a mother figure to Ali, when she suddenly died a couple of years ago, Ali couldn’t understand, even last night he asked me please say she’s alive, Ali holds on to this heart break of our family becoming even smaller, He has lost hope in humanity. He fears to leave the house and suffers twitches, when he cries at night it breaks my heart. My mother is an amazing mum she works hard to ensure me and my brother are emotionally well but I know she is so worried about Christmas. most of the money my mother gets goes towards the funeral bills for my granny and this year has hit us hard. We have been struggling to get the basics such as food and electric and with Christmas vastly approaching all I can see is my mother’s worrying face. It tears me apart to know that Christmas is only four weeks away and we are still trying to work out if we can afford to put the washing machine on. I am too old for presents myself as I’ve just turned 22 but a pound would go towards getting my brother a toy from the pound shop, I would love for this to be a secret and then to film my mother if I manage to raise something. I understand there is so many people struggling as well which makes me feel even more guilty for asking for help, all I can say
