**Flynn's 36-Hole Golf Challenge**

Hi, my name is Flynn and I’m 11 years old. I'm raising money for two charities that have made a huge difference to my life: **Hope for Epilepsy** and **Cerebral Palsy Sport**.

I have right-sided hemiplegia, a form of cerebral palsy, and I was diagnosed with epilepsy when I was 4 years old. My seizures can be prolonged and have resulted in hospital admissions. Most of my seizures happen in the early hours of the morning, so being alerted quickly is incredibly important.

When we reached out to Hope for Epilepsy, they generously provided me with a seizure alert watch and an anti-suffocation pillow. Their support has made an incredible difference to my safety and has given my family much greater peace of mind. The watch has been a life saver as it sends an alert when I have a seizure.

I'm also proud to be a Young Ambassador for Cerebral Palsy Sport. The charity provides people with cerebral palsy the opportunity to take part in sport, build confidence, make friends and achieve things they never thought possible. Being involved has shown me that having cerebral palsy doesn't have to stop you from doing what you love.

Now I want to give something back.

To raise money for these amazing charities, I'm taking on the challenge of playing 36 holes of golf in one day around 8 hours on the course! Darwen Golf Club are supporting me with my cause and as a member I’m very grateful. Golf is my happy place, and this challenge will really test me both physically and mentally, but I know it will be worth it.

Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help Hope for Epilepsy continue supporting families like mine and help Cerebral Palsy Sport provide life-changing sporting opportunities for children and adults with cerebral palsy.
