Earlier this year, my mum was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. Within the past 5 months, she has been diagnosed, undergone treatment and is making good recovery. The RD&E Hospital (NHS), responded to my mums concern, and were able to diagnose and offer treatment very quickly. However, the support that is received afterwards is just as important when finding out you have Cancer. FORCE provide support, close to home, for those who are diagnosed with many forms of Cancer. FORCE provide physical, emotional, psychological and practical support for all who require different levels of support. I am running the Great West Run for FORCE in order to raise money for more people to receive the support that my mum was able to receive. Many of us are scared to check for abnormalities, yet, we are in great hands when coping with Cancer.
