On either the 5th or 6th of July 2018 (depending on the weather) Luke will be doing a sky dive jump at Headcorn, Ashford. Luke will be jumping for Shane Hemsley who has decided to donate the money raised to both St.Wilfreds and Macmillian.

We have known the Hemsley's for quite a number of years, they are a family who would do anything to help anyone and are loved by many. Sadly earlier this year Shane was suffering with a terrible chesty cough, he attended an appointment at his local GP and started a week's course of anti-biotics for a chest infection. Shane finished his course of medication however felt no change, so he attended the doctors again. He was then referred that same down to hospital for a number of different scans, he was later sent home. The next day Shane received a call from the hospital asking him to come in, the family received the worst news that anybody would dread. Shane has liver and lung cancer and it became clear that it was terminal. The family have started to make some amazing memories with their 3 beautiful young girls, such as Paris and renewal of their wedding vows. The girls made everyone proud on their renewal day, the ceremony was hard and everyone did shed a tear however it was up beat and cheerful.
