Story

On 18th October 2026, I'll be running the Yorkshire Marathon to raise money for Memory Matters Dementia Café, a charity that has made a real difference to my grandma's life.

The café has brought her so much joy through its welcoming sessions, where she can enjoy dancing, singing, gentle exercise, and engaging mental activities in a safe and supportive environment. Just as importantly, it has given her a wonderful sense of community, surrounded by people who truly understand the challenges of living with dementia.

Seeing the happiness and confidence these sessions have brought to my grandma has inspired me to take on this marathon. Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help Memory Matters continue providing these invaluable opportunities for people living with dementia and their families.

Thank you so much for your support.
