I will be spending a whole working day in a dog crate in the entrance of Pets at Home in Kempston on the 26th November to raise money for the amazing organisation PACS (Phangan Animal Care).
PACS are a non government funded organisation that rely completely on donations. I spent a day volunteering last year and going back again in January to help out.
They look after all the stray animals on the island Koh Phangan.
They only have a couple of full time members of staff and do not have there own vet and rely on volunteers.The head nurse runs day to day duties and arranges neutering's with a vet on the island. They take in any strays that need help and even end up keeping any animals that cant find a forever home. They have very basic facilities and supplies but will do absolutely everything to save an animal.
Any kind of donation will go a long way in Thailand and anything to save the lovely strays is much appreciated.
