I will be spending a whole working day in a dog crate in the entrance of Pets at Home in Kempston on the 26th November to raise money for the amazing organisation PACS (Phangan Animal Care).
PACS are a non government funded organisation that rely completely on donations. I spent a day volunteering last year and going back again in January to help out.
They look after all the stray animals on the island Koh Phangan.
They only have a couple of full time members of staff and do not have there own vet and rely on volunteers. The head nurse runs day to day duties and arranges neutering's with a vet on the island. They take in any strays that need help and even end up keeping any animals that cant find a forever home. They have very basic facilities and supplies but will do absolutely everything to save an animal.
Any kind of donation will go a long way in Thailand and anything to save the lovely strays is much appreciated.
If you want to know anymore about this amazing charity please come down on the 26th and have a chat.
You can also check out the website www.pacsthailand.com if you'd like to see what they do.
