I am in the process of setting up a social group for people who need support with their PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder). It will aim to provide social activities and general support in thr local community of newton aycliffe and aurrounding areas. I have had experience of PTSD both personally and professionally and i am passionate about supporting people to make use of their local community again and give them a safe space to just be themselves and have people around them who can relate to what they are going through. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. This is for anyone suffering from PTSD (doesnt have to be diagnosed) and can be military or non military. Lets make this group a success!
