Ever since having my own baby I have wanted the chance to give something back to the special care unit where she was looked after. The staff do such a wonderful job and the care provided meant a great deal to my family, as it does to many others. I have received a ballot place for the Great North Run in September and would like to dedicate any funds raised to the Neonatal Unit at the James Paget Hospital. As a midwife and a mother I will be running proudly and hoping whatever I can raise will be used to help other families.
